Study Abroad
In the winter of their fourth year, Business Honors students can explore the world through a two-week international study abroad trip. An automatic scholarship is provided to help reduce the trip cost.
Site visits to major companies combined with sightseeing of major points of cultural and historic interest, and cultural immersion activities, ensure that a Business Honors study tour will be educational, memorable, and a deeply enriching experience. Students often point to this trip as the highlight of their time in Business Honors and CSUF.
The trip satisfies two parts of the Business Administration curriculum as a GE requirement and the Global Business requirement, through the ECON 335 (The International Economy) course. The ECON 335 course helps students understand how the international economy operates, how countries interact with each other, how goods and services are traded between countries, and how investment and people move across national boundaries. Students come away with a better understanding of the global economy and how to effectively lead organizations that operate within it.
