How To Apply

Business Honors Program applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are now open! You can apply to enter as a freshman, sophomore, or junior.

All students hoping to apply to the Business Honors Program are encouraged to have a cumulative 3.7 GPA or above at the time of application submission.

This does not mean we will not accept your application if your cumulative GPA is below a 3.7.  The Business Honors Program office considers all applicants equally and without bias. We assess the entire application, including GPA, extra-curriculars, essay responses, enthusiasm for the Business Honors Program, and course eligibility. After reviewing applications, select students will be offered the opportunity to interview.

 

To apply, please follow the steps below:

Step #1: Select the appropriate application.

  • If you will be entering CSUF Business Honors as a freshman for the 2025-2026 school year, use our Freshman Application.
  • If you will be entering CSUF Business Honors as a sophomore or junior for the 2025-2026 school year, use our Sophomore/Junior Application. 

 

Step #2: Fill out the application.

Respond to the application questions in a genuine way so we get a good sense of who you are.

 

Step #3: Submit before the deadline.

Priority Deadline: Saturday, March 1st, 2025, 11:59pm. Students who apply by the March 1st deadline will receive an answer from the BH office before the May 1st CSU decision deadline.

Final Deadline: Thursday, May 1st, 2025, 11:59pm. Students who apply by the May 1st deadline are not guaranteed an answer from the BH office before the May 1st decision deadline, but will get an answer from the BH office by June 1st.

 

Step #4: Monitor your email.

After applying, please keep an eye out on your email address for updates regarding your application and any additionally requested information. Interviews will be granted to applicants that we wish to know more about. There is no guarantee that an applicant will be offered an interview. All decisions will be communicated through email.
