Business Honors Events

The Business Honors Program at Cal State Fullerton is designed to develop the skills and attributes needed to excel in today's global business environment. To achieve this mission, students broaden their collegiate experience by participating in leadership development, community service and academic enrichment opportunities.

Community Service Events

Placentia Heritage Festival

Business Honors students have hosted a booth and assisted in festival activities at the Heritage Day Festival and Parade.

"At the Heritage Parade, the volunteers helped run the kids' booth. Not only did I get to see kids have fun, but a community of families spent time together and enjoyed themselves. Helping out the city of Placentia and bonding with my friend was a great way to spend my Saturday evening and I will definitely do it again next year!" - Jennifer La '21

Mary's Kitchen

Business Honors students have lended a helping hand at Mary's Kitchen, washing dishes, preparing ingredients and serving meals.

"It was such a fulfilling experience giving back to our community at one of the largest events of the year. We interacted with local business owners and kids in our time there. Opportunities like this help us to develop our leadership skills and allow us to realize the importance of giving back." - Haley Hunt '20

Smithsonian Writing History Event

Business Honors students have decoded historical documents through the Smithsonian Writing History Event. These documents have included state deeds and grants and military letters. Deciphering the words written in cursive was challenging yet thrilling because everyone had a different interpretation of the text.

Professional Events

Business Honors' Professional Events offer the best opportunities for high-achieving business undergraduates comparable to the top academic institutions of the country through exclusive recruitment, professional development opportunities and a built in networking base.
