Requirement Sheets and Roadmaps

The Requirement Sheets and Roadmaps are tools you can use to help plan your class schedule. However, you will need to follow the degree requirements found in your Titan Degree Audit (TDA) to ensure that you are enrolling in appropriate courses for your degree.

The BA in International Business consists of core, concentration, capstone, and electives courses. The Regional or Functional Specialization electives enables customization, providing the opportunity for students to specialize in a single area of interest (ex. Marketing), develop a greater understanding of business practices in global regional or cross-regional contexts, or focus on areas of interest, such as economic development.

The BA in International Business offers two concentrations:

A concentration in Global Trade includes coursework in economic development analysis and case studies, global finance, risk management, operations management, export/import marketing strategies, and the supply chain.

A concentration in Intercultural Management is a highly interdisciplinary program enabling students to complete related coursework through the College of Communications and foreign language studies through the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

You can view the  Requirement Sheet and Roadmap  for your concentration based on your catalog year below. Your catalog year is located on the top right corner of your TDA. For details, visit the website on  Understanding Your Catalog Year.

Regional or Functional Specialization Electives

International Business students are required to complete 15 units of electives in a chosen regional or functional specialization. Your Regional/Functional Specialization electives cannot double-count with your required or concentration courses and must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher.

For studnets whose catalog year is Fall 2021 or later you can choose from the list of electives on your TDA.  For Students whose catalog year is prior to Fall 2021 to choose your electives, you must take the following steps:

STEP 1: Review the list of Regional/Functional Specialization elective options (PDF)

STEP 2: Fill in your chosen electives on the Approval of Regional/Functional Electives form (PDF) and email it to Businessadvising@fullerton.edu.

NOTE: Current students majoring in a non-business   degree must first meet with a Business Advisor to change your major to any of the college’s business degrees.

If you are unable to find an appointment, you can request to have the change of major overview conducted via email.
Please email  businessadvising@fullerton.edu  with the following:

  • First and Last Name
  • CWID
  • Major/Concentration of interest
  • Full time or Part time enrollment for next semester's schedule

Once we receive this information, we will send you an email with a detailed overview of the major and a class schedule recommendation. You will then be able to request to change your major to the College of Business and Economics.
