Advising Services
The Business Advising Center offers you different opportunities to connect with a business advisor. You may use our live chat option, email us, or schedule an appointment. Please keep in mind that the center does not offer drop-in advising; an appointment is needed.
To connect with an advisor, select from the options below. To better assist all students, please do not duplicate your inquiry.
Business Advising Live Chat (virtual service)
Current students, chat with a Business Advisor to ask your quick questions. During your Live Chat session, you will be having a real-time back and forth text conversation with a business advisor that is similar to a one-on-one session. If you are newly admitted to the University, please visit the
Newly Admitted Student webpage.
Live chat is available during the following times (excluding holidays and when the campus is closed):

During June 26th thru July 27th the Business Advising Center will be providing support to newly admitted students for Fall 2023 Orientation. For advising support please use our Live Chat feature for advising questions.
A Business Advisor will read, research and respond to you within 6-8 business days Monday - Friday. This account is monitored daily, by an advisor, to ensure that you are supported.

If you do not see the Business Advising Center location appear, that means we are booked. Check back the following morning and throughout the day as appointments will become available/visible on a daily basis.

How to Schedule an Appointment (PDF)
Non-business majors, if you are scheduling a change-of-major appointment or want to discuss business minors, please add that as a comment when you book the appointment. You may also find details on how to change your major online.
Canceling Appointments
If you are unable to make your scheduled advising session, you must cancel your appointment. If you cannot cancel your appointment online please email us and provide us with your name, CWID and date and time of appointment at BusinessAdvising@fullerton.edu. Failure to cancel your appointment may impact your ability to schedule appointments in the future.
Prospective Students
During non-registration periods, prospective students, who have not applied and been admitted to CSUF, are welcome to request an appointment with a business advisor.
During registration periods, prospective students who have not applied and been admitted to CSUF are welcome to email your questions to the Business Advising Center's front desk at bacundergrad@fullerton.edu
