As TITANIAM entered its second year this January, the student-led organization continues to build momentum within Cal State Fullerton’s Department of Marketing. Designed to connect students with industry opportunities while fostering personal and professional growth, TITANIAM has quickly become a hub for aspiring marketing professionals. Since May 2025, Anaya Jamerson ’26, a double major in marketing and information systems, has led the organization into its next chapter of impact and expansion.
“My role is the dynamic hub of our organization, where I lead and oversee our core teams, including events, social media and communications,” explains Jamerson. “My week is a hands-on cycle of ensuring seamless event coordination and making sure all the critical details are covered.”
From planning high-level virtual meetings alongside faculty advisors Jake Beniflah and Ryan DeFronzo to creating RSVP lists and assisting fellow students in creating TITANIAM’s robust and informative social media footprint, Jamerson has been at the lead of TITANIAM’s success in the past year.
Looking ahead to the spring semester, Jamerson sees more memorable opportunities ahead. “Our primary goals are to keep growing our company partnerships and to further expand our events to build even bigger and better connections and opportunities for CSUF students. Through this expanded network, we aim to inspire students and encourage them to explore the full, exciting spectrum of business marketing career paths,” she says.
TITANIAM Bridges the Gap Between Classroom and Career
Jamerson encourages her fellow Titans to get involved with TITANIAM because it provides a bridge between college and career success. “TITANIAM is built to simplify the often repetitive and difficult job search process and accelerate finding that job after graduation,” she says. By creating crucial opportunities for students to build professional relationships within the marketing, advertising, and sales industries, students gain the capability of producing a vital network, connecting with founders, executives, and top recruiters from major companies.
From the perspective of employers and business professionals, Jamerson notes that TITANIAM provides mutual benefits by cultivating the next generation of Southern California marketing professionals. With the largest business college enrollment in the Cal State system, CSUF is home to a dynamic and growing community of future marketing professionals. Through TITANIAM, students are gaining greater visibility in the industry and expanding their presence in the field, with increasing opportunities to secure competitive, high-impact roles upon graduation
“At TITANIAM, we assure employers that CSUF students are confident candidates who will not just meet, but exceed expectations when given the opportunity,” says Jamerson.
Jamerson’s Promising Path Forward in Marketing
In addition to leading TITANIAM, Jamerson’s time as a Titan has also included serving as internal vice president of the Black Student Union (BSU), where she has organized major community-centric events for the Black student body and worked to strengthen diversity and inclusion on campus. “This leadership position is deeply meaningful to me because I came to CSUF seeking a place that values diversity, and my work with BSU is a clear testament to that value,” says Jamerson.
Jamerson plans to develop her expertise in brand marketing, with a goal of representing a diverse range of companies and brands, with a focus on executing marketing strategies and brand campaigns through integrated marketing analytics.
“I’m excited to put this preparation into practice, as I’m set to begin my new full-time role this upcoming summer. I look forward to the challenges and successes of this next chapter in my professional journey,” she says.
