Fall 2026 Calendar of Events
Kick-Off Meeting (September 8, 2026) O'Brien Center (SGMH 3230) In-person; 4:00 - 6pm
This is the first meeting of the semester to announce the spring schedule to students. All students are invited to attend. Sponsors are welcome to attend to network with new students and potential recruits. While this is not a recruiting event, it can be a good casual network with students.
CPS and Career Fair Prep Workshop (September 15, 2026) O’Brien Center (SGMH 3230), 4 - 6 pm
This is a workshop to help students understand the sales process and how it impacts professional development and sales careers. This is required for the Sales Certificate. Sponsor companies are welcome to attend and participate. Bring your resume!
Sales Career Fair (September 23, 2026) TSU Pavilions, 2:00 - 5:30 pm
This career fair is an in-person event with corporate sponsors attracting students to their internship and career opportunities in the TSU. Students are presented with company information and networking opportunities. Companies are encouraged to schedule student interviews during their presentations.
Sales Career Academy (October 16, 2026) O’Brien Center (SGMH 3230), 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
This is an interactive session to learn about behavioral interviews, etiquette, job offer valuations, applications for jobs, and other vital information to prepare for careers in sales. Sponsors are present to share ideas, guidance, and networking.
Sales Showdown Virtual Sales Competition (March 13, 2026) virtual via Zoom, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
This is a virtual sales competition among national universities and hosted by the Sales Leadership Center. Sponsor companies watch and judge the event while students sell LA Kings Season tickets to a local business. Over 12 schools compete.
Titan Sales Competition Training (Nov. 10, 17, and Dec. 1) TBD, Competition December 4, 9 am to 1 pm
These three training sessions help students prepare for the upcoming sales competition on April 11. The role-play with sponsor presentations and sales skills are covered so that students can learn and present their role play in a professional manner. Sponsors are judges at the event on April 11.
