Cal State Fullerton is renowned as a leader in making a high-quality education affordable and accessible to all students, including those from historically underrepresented groups. And nowhere is this mission more evident than the College of Business and Economics, the university’s largest college.
This September, U.S. News & World Report ranked CSUF in seventh place nationally for social mobility – which means CSUF is exceptional at advancing social mobility by enrolling and graduating large proportions of economically disadvantaged students.
Low tuition, an abundance of scholarships, state-focused financial aid, job opportunities in and around campus, and a supportive environment are just some of the factors that help CSUF stand apart.
U.S. News & World Report also included Cal State Fullerton’s undergraduate business programs among its best bachelor’s degree business programs nationally.
“The university’s top 10 national ranking in social mobility serves as a validation of the College of Business and Economics’ mission to change the lives of our students, 40 percent of whom are from underrepresented groups and roughly one-third of whom are first-generation,” says Dean Sri Sundaram. “We are proud of our college’s ability to connect students with innovative learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom and to position our graduates to lead successful careers and impactful lives — all at an affordable cost.”
