MBA in Risk Management and Insurance

The area of risk management and insurance is a crucial part of the financing aspect of the business sector. For companies to continue to grow, they must seek out a multitude of financing options, while protecting the assets of the company. Graduates of the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics employed in this sector have professional experience in assessing and quantifying business risks and knowing the steps necessary to reduce and control them. They have knowledge, skills, and abilities to analyze liabilities, taxation, retirement funds, and compensation in line with the organization’s policies, ethics, culture, values, and goals.

Across many industries, Mihaylo graduates can be found in careers that develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures within a company to mitigate risks. Loss control, insurance, and legal billing are all critical factors and functions of business today. Mihaylo students are building their knowledge and experience to become top professionals in these areas, ensuring operational success within a variety of companies, both regionally and out of the area.
