Academic Internship (Credit-Earning)
- Internship must be registered with the Center for Internships and Community Engagement (CICE).
- Student must apply for Academic Internships on Titan Connection
- Gives student academic credit for work at an internship site
- Student must be enrolled in the corresponding course while holding their internship to receive academic credit.
- Internship is evaluated by a designated faculty member at CSUF.
- Employers are asked to complete an evaluation of their intern.
- Can be paid or unpaid.
- NOTE: Internships defined as Academic/For-College Credit on Titan Connection have been pre-approved by the CICE.
- For specific instructions on steps to the internship process for academic credit, please refer to your CICE 495 Instruction Cards listed below. All steps must be completed by the add deadline of the term.

Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments that are similar to those given to new hires or interns. Micro-Internships are facilitated via the Parker Dewey platform, which connects students with companies in need of support.

Firsthand is a premiere resource website with insider information about companies, industries, and professions. It’s easy-to-access resources include comprehensive company profiles, career topic guidebooks, industry articles, and sample resumes. With over 5000 company profiles and 600 internship profiles, Firsthand is a great resource to support your research on potential employers!
