Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program

The Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program (DFASP) is collaborating with 25 colleges and universities to help fund scholarships for students interested in pursuing a fifth-year master's degree in accounting, master of tax or master of accounting with a concentration in audit, advisory, or tax. The Deloitte Foundation and participating universities will provide the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars a scholarship that covers 100% of their tuition and academic fees (excluding books and living expenses) for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Interested students who meet the Program’s eligibility criteria below are encouraged to apply to the University's one-year master's in accounting, master of tax, or master of accounting with a concentration in audit, advisory, or tax program that runs any time between June 2026 and August 2027 following the University's standard criteria and processes for admission, and then apply separately to be considered for the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program.

The Program scholarship recipient selection process shall be developed, coordinated, and led by the University. The University shall consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or other status prohibited or disfavored by law.

Selection/Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University in the United States.

  • Pursuing an undergraduate baccalaureate degree in accounting from an accredited program (Note: Undergraduate finance or other business majors would also be eligible if they are able to complete the Master of Accounting program by August 2027).

  • Strong academic track record; minimum of 3.0 GPA (on 4.0 scale).

  • Selected participants must have the ability to reside in the United States and the intention to pursue career opportunities in the United States after graduating from the University.

  • Must meet the standards for admission into a Deloitte Foundation selected accredited college/university masters program in accounting, masters of tax program or masters of accounting program with concentration in audit, advisory or tax.

  • Have an interest in pursuing a career in public accounting and obtaining their CPA in the United States, but not presently a CPA.

  • Selected participants must matriculate to the University's masters program (which includes masters of accounting programs, masters of tax programs and masters of accounting programs with audit, advisory or tax concentrations) for the duration of the 2025-2026 academic school year (June 2026 through August 2027) and complete such program by August 2027.

  • The scholarship deadline is March 31, 2026.
