Application Process
The Business Student Advisory Board (BSAB) aims to enhance the educational experience of students in the College of Business and Economics while serving as a consulting group for the Dean, administrators, faculty, and staff. The Board will support decision-making for the College and act as a liaison between College officials and the business student body.
Eligibility (subject to change):
Currently enrolled undergraduate student with a major in the College of Business and Economics
Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
Ability to serve for one academic year and attend five Friday meetings per semester along with two days of professional development
Provide a minimum of one reference from a Professor, College of Business and Economics staff, mentor, present or past employer, etc. No reference forms from family members will be accepted.

References will receive an email from [email protected] after the application deadline with a link to complete a short recommendation form (approximately 5–7 minutes). Applicants are responsible for notifying their reference in advance and confirming their willingness to submit the form by the required deadline
Application checklist:
Complete the online application (must be logged into CSUF email) by March 27, 2026. Reference form must be submitted by April 3, 2026.
Selection process and timeline:
- Applicants will be notified via email of a virtual interview opportunity
- Selection of board members will occur during Spring 2026
- Selected students will attend a mandatory orientation/professional development session
- Meetings will commence in the Fall 2026 semester and end in the Spring 2027 semester
- Meeting dates will be held on Fridays. Tentative dates will be provided in the offer letter
