
Admission Requirements

After reviewing the requirements below, please take note of our application process and filing deadline.
Bachelor's Degree
The minimum graduate admission requirement includes a bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Graduates of recognized academic institutions outside of the United States should have completed degree programs consisting of a minimum of 16 years of schooling with at least 12 years at the primary and secondary levels.
Minimum GPA
The minimum GPA for admittance into the College of Business and Economics Graduate programs is a 2.5 (out of 4.0) or higher. Emphasis is placed on the last two years of study.
Official GMAT or GRE Score

To learn more about the GRE, visit the GRE website or call 609-771-7670. If you have already taken the GMAT/GRE exam, scores are valid for 5 years. Testing requirements for individual programs are below:

Flexible MBA and FEMBA
A GMAT or GRE is not required for admission for applicants with a minimum GPA of 3.0* and at least one year of post-graduate professional work experience. Please do note that our MBA programs require strong communication as well as quantitative skills. Thus, if you have limited post-graduate work experience or if your application package does not provide evidence of adequate quantitative course performance, we recommend you submit a GMAT or GRE score.

A test waiver may be considered for those applicants who can demonstrate, through their academic and professional work experience, a high level of quantitative and analytical skill and ability necessary for program success.

Accountancy

Not required; GMAT or GRE is strongly recommended for applicants with a GPA below 3.3 on a 4.0 scale

Taxation

GMAT or GRE not required, but strongly recommended for applicants with GPAs of less than 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or with relevant work experience.

Economics: The GRE requirement is waived for students whose GPA is higher than 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

Information Systems: GMAT or GRE

We will waive the GMAT/GRE requirement for applicants with a 3.0 (GPA) or better after completing an undergraduate degree from an AACSB-accredited business school in the United States within the last three years. Additionally, applicants must have a “B” or better in calculus and an upper-division undergraduate statistics or data analysis class. We will waive the GMAT/GRE requirement for applicants with a 3.0 (GPA) or better after completing an undergraduate degree from an AACSB-accredited business school in the United States within the last three years. Additionally, applicants must have a “B” or better in calculus and an upper-division undergraduate statistics or data analysis class.

FLEX MBA and FEMBA — GMAT/GRE Waiver Application
Regardless of citizenship, all applicants whose education was not at a majority English-language country must submit proof of English proficiency before a GMAT/GRE Waiver decision can be made.
For those with less than one year of post-graduate professional full-time work experience:
A waiver may be considered for those applicants who can demonstrate, through their academic and professional work experience, a high level of quantitative and analytical skill and ability necessary for program success.

A GMAT or GRE score report is not required.

Applicants may opt to submit a current score as part of the application if they wish

The Admissions Committee may request a score report as additional information to more thoroughly assess an applicant’s quantitative and analytical abilities.
International Students:
English Proficiency Exam (if required)
All applicants whose education was not in a majority English-language country must submit proof of English proficiency before an admissions decision can be made.
English language proficiency is automatically waived for the following countries: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Ascension, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Canada (except Quebec), Cayman Islands, Dominica, England, Eritrea, Fiji, Gambia, Ghana, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Paua New Guinea, Saint Helena, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and The Grenadines, Scotland, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Uganda, Wales, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
