Cal State Fullerton’s Online B.A. in Business Administration degree-completion program is renowned for its benefits of flexibility, affordability, attainability and world-class education delivered in a fully remote environment. If a fully online format aligns with your goals, this program at Cal State Fullerton stands out as a leading choice for flexibility, quality and career-focused learning.
Heather Chakiris, the college’s assistant director of online undergraduate programming and initiatives, recommends that students attend information sessions to ensure a full understanding of the program’s structure, pace, costs and admission requirements, noting that applicants who are intentional in planning from application to graduation are typically most successful. “We want to make sure we are a good fit for the students’ goals and busy schedules,” Chakiris says.
Your Future in Business Starts with These Steps
- Attend an Information Session. Typically held on Wednesdays and Thursdays virtually, these regularly scheduled sessions are opportunities to discover program benefits and ask questions. Register for an upcoming session today!
- Meet the Admissions Requirements. To be considered for the program, students must have a minimum of 60 transferable units from a community college or other accredited institution and a 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA. (The minimum GPA requirement for returning or current CSUF students is 2.0.) Students must have completed introductory coursework in the “Golden Four”: oral and written communication, critical thinking, and math/quantitative reasoning, and introductory lower-division business courses are required, too. Review the full Admission Requirements.

In the Online B.A. in Business Administration, prospective students may schedule a 20-minute online appointment for an unofficial transcript evaluation. Prospective students may also request an unofficial transcript evaluation by emailing the Online Business advising team: [email protected]. Once you’re accepted as a student, 30-minute Zoom appointments are available to stay on track.

- Submit Your Transcripts. Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions and any official Advanced Placement (AP) exam scores must be submitted to the Cal State Fullerton Office of Admissions. The review of your application will not begin until all transcripts are received.
- Connect with Financial Aid. Loans, grants, scholarships, and more are available to our eligible Online B.A. in Business Administration students. Connect with the university’s Office of Financial Aid to learn more. Active duty military, military veterans, and their dependents are encouraged to contact the CSUF Veterans Resource Center to discuss how education benefits can be applied to the Online Business program.
