When 2,500 Cal State Fullerton business students celebrated their graduations at commencement on May 24, two undergrad seniors – Muneeba Memon (accounting) and Tiffany Cordon (human resources) – encouraged and inspired their peers as commencement speakers.
Learn more about the two outstanding students who were chosen to represent the class of 2023.

Muneeba Memon ’23
One of our youngest grads, Muneeba is only 19, having earned her high school diploma while only 15 years old.
“I would like the class of 2023 to have confidence in themselves and their decisions,” she says to her peers.
“Believing in oneself is easier said than done, but it is critical that we apply this concept in our lives. Upon graduating, we will have to make numerous life-changing decisions. Thus, we must believe in ourselves and our abilities to achieve our goals.”
During her time at Cal State Fullerton, Muneeba was active in the Business Honors Program, the CSUF Accounting Society, and as a supplemental instructor in accounting courses. She recognizes her extensive involvement in the college community as central to her Titan experience.
“As an introverted extrovert, I struggle with networking with others. Despite this challenge, I am proud that I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and sought opportunities to get involved in school. It helped me gain more confidence while contributing to my school’s initiatives.”
Muneeba plans to complete her CPA studies by the end of 2023 before beginning a full-time career journey in public accounting at RSM.
Tiffany Cordon

When Tiffany arrived at Cal State Fullerton in 2019, she hit the ground running.
In her first semester, she started a social media marketing internship at the Dean’s Suite, joined the HR board of the Center for Leadership scholars, mentee, and was a Business Honors student. Plus, she had the on-campus residence life experience.
When the COVID pandemic sent students home, Tiffany excelled in the new study environment, and even secured internships amidst the pandemic.
“I would like the class of 2023 to be aware that their journey at CSUF was a unique one. I know our programs and support system played a huge role in our success story. How we conquer our challenges and adversity are prime examples of why we are Titans. We are resilient, powerful, passionate and successful,” she says.
College life has been a long and varied journey for Tiffany and her peers. Looking back, it is the relationships and connections made that make her most proud.
“From Business Honors to the Society of Excellence in Human Resources and all the others, the programs I was a part of were life-changing, particularly in the friendships I made,” she says. “The passions I gained from CSUF guided my post-graduation plans into human resources, which I’ve grown to love.”
Since August 2022, Tiffany has been working full-time at Urovant Services Inc., an Irvine-based pharmaceutical company, as a senior HR associate. The company is currently going through a merger and will become Sumitomo Pharma America. Tiffany is part of the efforts to make the merger a seamless success.
Congratulations to Muneeba Memon, Tiffany Cordon, and the entire class of 2023!
