This unique annual event explores through the perspective of CSUF students the next generation’s social responsibility related expectations from their potential employers.
Every company has an environmental footprint. It may not always be as visible as in extraction industries like mining and oil & gas. It could be simple things like the use of water, the disposal of waste, and whether your energy sources are causing environmental damage. Not surprisingly, corporate environmental sustainability has become one of the most discussed aspects of the social impact of businesses. While not denying the progress made in the last two or three decades, some key areas of concern remain. Are companies truly transparent about environmental sustainability, or are they greenwashing? Hear the related thoughts, ideas, and opinions of the next generation of voices and their expectations from the corporate workplace! We will explore this theme in this unique event hosted by Gianneschi Center for Social Impact in Business (CSUF).
It is hosted in collaboration with OneOC, Center for Family Business (CSUF) and Business Honors program (CSUF). In this event, a panel of CSUF students will discuss what they expect from a potential employer related to this theme. - This event also provides a unique networking opportunity between OneOC’s CVCOC members, family business executives, motivated CSUF students and faculty.
