Below are the entrepreneurship scholarships that will be awarded for the Fall 2026 term.
The CSUF Scholarship Application Open from January 5, 2026, to March 1, 2026.

Conrey Insurance Brokers and Risk Managers Entrepreneurial Scholarship
Amount: $3,500
Established by: Conrey Insurance Brokers and Risk Managers
Open to:
- Full-time students entering their senior year in the upcoming fall semester
- Completed 20+ semester units at CSUF
- Majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship
- 2.5 GPA (employed and/or extracurricular activities) OR 3.0 GPA (unemployed or not involved in extracurricular activities)
Criteria:
- Scholastic achievement
- Essay in application
- Community activities
Application Deadline: March 1, 2026
Kenneth W. Guchereau Scholarship
Amount: $2,000
Established by: Kenneth W. Guchereau
Open to:
- Enrolled full-time students at CSUF for the Fall 2026 term
- Majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship
- Demonstrated financial need by filing the 2026–27 FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA)
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Major GPA of 3.5 or higher
Criteria:
- Academic and career aspirations within the field of entrepreneurship
- Academic progress within the entrepreneurship track
- Engagement with the Center for Entrepreneurship programs or initiatives

Purpura Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship
Amount: $1,500
Established by: This scholarship was established by Bill Purpura to support and empower the next generation of business leaders. The award is designed for dedicated student entrepreneurs who are actively balancing their academic pursuits with the rigorous demands of launching a new venture.
Open to:
- Must be pursuing a major or minor in Entrepreneurship.
- Must be a current student actively developing a startup
- The startup must be for-profit
- The startup must have a founding team already in place (not a solo project in the ideation phase).
Criteria:
- A clear business model and vision for their for-profit venture.
- Evidence of a committed founding team working toward common milestones.
- A strong connection between their entrepreneurial academic studies and their real-world application.

Purpura Family Intrapreneurial Scholarship
Amount: $1,500
Established by: Bill Purpura
Open to: All students currently working on new growth opportunities from inside an existing business.
Criteria: Student must be actively working with an existing business as an employee, intern, or consultant.

The VerWayne Family Grow Grads Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Established by: the VerWayne Family
Open to:
- Majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship
- Enrolled full-time student at CSUF for the Fall 2026 term
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Single parent status
- Demonstrated financial need by filing the 2025–26 FAFSA or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA)
Criteria:
- Scholastic achievement
- Financial need
Application Deadline: March 1, 2026
Entrepreneurship Excellence Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Established by: Bryan Ruef ‘21 to recognize and honor students who have demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit.
Open to: New and continuing entrepreneurship major students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Criteria:
- Enrolled full-time student at CSUF for the Fall 2026 term
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship
- Participation in the Conrey Center for Entrepreneurship
- Essay or personal statement on entrepreneurship aspirations

To apply for any of the scholarships listed above:
- Log in to your CSUF Student Portal.
- Type “Scholarships” in the Apps search bar on the left-hand side.
- Select “Student Application” button in the Titan Scholarship Portal.
- Click "Start Application" and complete the Fall 2026 CSUF Scholarship Application.
- Be sure to enter your Entrepreneurship concentration!
