Economic Forecasts

Cal State Fullerton's Woods Center for Economic Analysis and Forecasting presents an annual economic forecast each October, looking at the three-year outlook for the national, state and Orange County economies, as well as a Spring Economic Forecast each April. Additionally, periodic reports and updates are presented as relevant throughout the year.

The mid-term election cycle is intensifying at a time when shifting trade policies, renewed tariff debates and ongoing global conflicts are already reshaping the economic landscape. Markets have remained resilient, but questions around inflation, geopolitical risk and policy direction continue to challenge business leaders and investors.
