Jon is a partner with Ernst & Young (EY) based in the Orange County office serving public and private clients primarily in the real estate and related industries, including traded and non-traded real estate investment trusts (REITs), real estate funds, homebuilders and operating companies.

Jon has extensive experience with real estate fair value reporting, homebuilding and land development concepts, real estate joint ventures and projects, purchase price allocations, real estate lending activities, complex carried interest models and other advanced real estate accounting matters.

Jon has also assisted companies with registration statement filings related to equity and debt offerings and other ongoing SEC filing requirements. Additionally, Jon has led Sarbanes Oxley 404 projects domestically and abroad and has significant experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for real estate companies.

Jon is an active contributor to firmwide and real estate-specific training facilitation and content development within EY. Jon has also served as a Director of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program for the Orange County region.

Jon graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting. Jon is a licensed CPA in the state of California and member of the American Institute of Public Certified Accountants (AICPA) and California Society of CPAs.

Jon serves on several Boards and Committees at Cal State Fullerton, including the Accounting Advisory Board; the Board of Directors for the Center for Corporate Reporting and Governance; and the Philanthropic Foundation Board of Governors.
