Below are the entrepreneurship scholarships that will be awarded for the Fall 2026 term.
The CSU System-Wide Scholarship Application opens from January 5, 2026, to March 1, 2026.

Conrey Insurance Brokers and Risk Managers Entrepreneurial Scholarship
Amount: $3,500
Established by: Conrey Insurance Brokers and Risk Managers
Open to:
- Full-time students entering their senior year in the upcoming fall semester
- Completed 20+ semester units at CSUF
- Majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship
- 2.5 GPA (employed and/or extracurricular activities) OR 3.0 GPA (unemployed or not involved in extracurricular activities)
Criteria:
- Scholastic achievement
- Essay in application
- Community activities

Purpura Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship
Amount: $1,500
Established by: Bill Purpura
Open to: All students currently developing a startup
Criteria:
- The founding team must be in place
- The startup must be for-profit
Application Deadline: March 1, 2026
Purpura Family Intrapreneurial Scholarship
Amount: $1,500
Established by: Bill Purpura
Open to: All students currently working on new growth opportunities from inside an existing business.
Criteria: Student must be actively working with an existing business as an employee, intern, or consultant.
Application Deadline: March 1, 2026
The VerWayne Family Grow Grads Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Established by: the VerWayne Family
Open to: New and continuing undergraduate Entrepreneurship majors students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree.
Criteria:
- Full-time enrollment
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Demonstrated financial need
- Single parent status
Application Deadline: March 1, 2026
Entrepreneurship Excellence Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Established by: Bryan Ruef ‘21 to recognize and honor students who have demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit.
Open to: New and continuing entrepreneurship major students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Criteria:
- Full-time enrollment
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Participation in the Conrey Center for Entrepreneurship
- Essay or personal statement on entrepreneurship aspirations
Application Deadline: March 1, 2026
Kenneth W. Guchereau Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Established by: Kenneth W. Guchereau
Open to: New and continuing undergraduate Entrepreneurship majors
Criteria:
- Junior or Senior standing with at least one more semester remaining at CSUF
- University GPA: 3.2 minimum
- Entrepreneurship concentration classes GPA: 3.5 minimum
- Demonstrated financial need

- Type “Scholarships” in the search bar on the left-hand side
- Click “Student Application”
- Click "Start Application" and follow the on-screen instructions. Be sure to enter your Entrepreneurship concentration
