Scholarships
Scholarship applications for the Spring 2023 term will be announced soon. Below are the scholarships for the Spring 2023 term.
Purpura Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship
Amount: $1,500
Established by: Bill Purpura
Open to: All students currently developing a startup.
Criteria: For consideration, all startups must have a founding team in place. Startups must be for-profit.
Application Procedure: Submission of a business plan and/or a pitch deck that outlines the problem, solution, who the customers are, how you will reach them, competitive landscape, and any other relevant materials. Submit to csufentrepreneurship@fullerton.edu by the due date.
Application Deadline: April 15, 2023
Purpura Family Intraprenuer Scholarship
Amount: $1,500
Established by: Bill Purpura
Open to: All students currently working on new growth opportunities from inside an existing business.
Criteria: For consideration, the student must be actively working with an existing business as an employee, intern, or consultant. Students must be currently enrolled at Cal State Fullerton.
Application Procedure: Submission of growth plan that outlines the opportunity (problem), solution, budget, and other resources that are needed to implement. Submit to csufentrepreneurship@fullerton.edu by the due date.

Conrey Insurance Brokers and Risk Managers Entrepreneurial Scholarship
Amount: $4,000
Established by: This scholarship was established by Conrey Insurance Brokers and Risk Managers on behalf of the Entrepreneurship Program in the CSUF College of Business and Economics, Cal State Fullerton.
Open to: This scholarship is open to full-time students in their junior year, entering their senior year in the upcoming fall semester, having completed not less than 20-semester units or hours at CSUF at the time of applying. All applicants must be majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship.
Criteria: 2.5 GPA (employed and/or extracurricular activities) or 3.0 GPA (unemployed or not involved in extracurricular activities).
Application Procedure: The online application will be available January 4. To access the application, go to your CSUF portal (be sure to use the new portal) and click on the “Scholarships” icon. Follow the onscreen instructions and be sure to answer all questions.
Application Deadline: April 15, 2023
The Patel Family Scholarship
Amount: Two (2) $250 scholarships
Established by: These scholarships are funded by the Patel Family and awarded to students to assist them in meeting educational expenses.
Open to: This scholarship is open to students majoring or minoring in Entrepreneurship.
Criteria: Is currently employed - First in their family to pursue higher education - Majoring or minoring in entrepreneurship.
Application Procedure: To access the application, go to your CSUF portal and click on the “Scholarships” icon. Follow the onscreen instructions and be sure to answer all questions.

The VerWayne Family Grow Grads Scholarship
Amount: one (1) $1,000 scholarship
Established by: This scholarship was established by the VerWayne Family on behalf of the Entrepreneurship Program in the CSUF College of Business and Economics, Cal State Fullerton
Open to: This scholarship is open to new and continuing Entrepreneurship major students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree.
Criteria: Full-time Enrollment - Minimum 3.0 GPA - Financial Need - Single Parent.
Application Procedure: To access the application, go to your CSUF portal and click on the “Scholarships” icon. Follow the onscreen instructions and be sure to answer all questions.
