What is the TCM Student Investment Conference?

TCM Student Investment Conference is dedicated to students who wish to pursue a career in investments or financial analysis. The conference is hosted by Titan Capital Management which invites local practitioners to host panels on various subjects such as Equity, Wealth Management, Fixed Income, and ETFs and Mutual Funds. Students are given the opportunity to enter into a stock pitch competition with a chance to win scholarship rewards. In addition, the conference is also used as a platform to network with industry professionals for career advice and/or potential job opportunities.

What You Will Experience:

  • Interactive Investment Panels

  • Team Stock Pitch and Fund Pitch Competition
  • Networking Opportunities

What is the Stock Pitch Competition?

What is the Fund Pitch Competition?

In this candid snapshot, a group of student participants engaged in a discussion about the investment game, created and facilitated by former managing TCM Director Marcia Lucas. With papers, charts, and folders scattered around, the students dive deep into developing the best asset allocation strategy to help the client achieve their objective and win the investment game!

Students Presenting

TCM students Jacquelyn George and Sam Fedrow confidently present their meticulously prepared research report presentation on the company MPLX, to the audience and judges. Charts, graphs, and projections displayed on the screen mirror the quality of those produced by investment practitioners. With the students seamlessly navigating through their presentation, it was no surprise that Jacquelyn and Sam earned third place in the research report competition.
