TCM Student Investment Program Application Process
Titan Capital Management is an exciting, immersive program. TCM Applied Investment students develop critical thinking skills, learn how to work under time pressure, and gain a solid understanding of the financial markets. Participants should expect to devote about ten hours per week beyond normal class time to research investment ideas, meet with teammates, and prepare portfolio reports. Classroom sessions focus primarily on investment math, portfolio management techniques, and market dynamics – most of the deep learning is done through self-study and peer collaboration outside of class.
If you decide to join the TCM Applied Investment program, you must have a 3.0 GPA either cumulatively or in your finance classes and submit a 1-page essay describing why you are a good candidate for the TCM program. You must also send in an unofficial copy of your academic transcript, plus request a recommendation from a faculty member, coach, or supervisor who can provide insight into your character and work ethic. Once these materials are reviewed, qualified candidates will be asked to write a brief essay on a market-related topic. The final step in the selection process is to meet with a member of the TCM faculty to assess your suitability for the applied investment program.
The Selection Process is handled by Faculty and Managing Director as follows: There is a 3-phase process consisting of interviews, essays, and prerequisite classes.
