Executive In Residence Overview

The Executive in Residence Program at the College of Business and Economics offers juniors, seniors and graduate business students the opportunity to connect with senior industry leaders who provide valuable industry insights, professional advice and guidance to help students prepare for their career path.

Participants apply the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to further gain invaluable insights through personalized mentorship, networking opportunities and real-world experiences. In this experience, students are not only inspired to envision their future careers but also equipped with practical tools and strategies to navigate the changing global business environment. By fostering lasting connections with executives, students will emerge more confident and prepared to make impactful contributions in their chosen fields.

Application Process

Graduate, Senior, and Junior business students seeking to participate must complete an online application for consideration. Applications open August 19, 2025 and the deadline to apply is September 7, 2025.

Students can select up to three mentors in their application. Each mentor will then review applications and may choose to do any informal interview with the candidate to choose his/her mentees. Acceptance to the program will be announced around mid to end of September. Admitted mentees must attend the mandatory program orientation, a career advising session, and sign the program contract before officially introduced to their mentors.
