At the Cal State Fullerton College of Business and Economics, there are no shortage of paths to earn a versatile and acclaimed graduate degree in business, accounting, economics, information systems or related disciplines. But for those who desire to study at the nation’s most elite institutes of higher learning, Business Titans discover that their Cal State Fullerton education is respected and celebrated as among the best on the West Coast.
Among those from the CSUF business college pursuing Ivy League educations are Matthew Martinez ’22 (management-human resources), who is pursuing graduate school at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Cornell is renowned as a national leader in human resources education, which Martinez is well equipped for thanks to the human resource education provided by Cal State Fullerton management professors such as Shaun Pichler and leading the CSUF chapter of the Society for Excellence in Human Resources (SEHR).
Another Ivy League-bound Business Titan is Anthony Gomez ’17 (accounting and finance), who has been accepted into the MBA program at Harvard Business School after working for Deloitte in both audit and mergers and acquisitions. Gomez, who is both a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and certified public accountant (CPA), plans to enter the private equity corporate arena after Harvard graduation. During his student days at CSUF, Gomez was involved in Beta Alpha Psi and the Finance Association, both student clubs focused on networking and professional development for aspiring business professionals.
Martinez and Gomez are far from alone. From Stanford University to Columbia University, the nation’s elite public and private schools all benefit from the insights and acumen of Business Titans who depart Cal State Fullerton ready to rise to any challenge and pursue any dream.
