Full Professor
Dr. Shaun Pichler (Ph.D., Michigan State University) is a professor of management (with tenure) at the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton where he teaches courses in human resource management and organizational behavior. He is also an adjunct professor at the Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine.
Shaun has published extesively in refereed journals such as the Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Occupational & Organizational Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior, and Personnel Psychology, among others. Shaun's research has been cited approximately 6,400 times as of November 2023 (Google Scholar) and has been covered a variety of prominent national (e.g., Forbes, Washington Post) and local (e.g., O.C. Register) media, numerous policy reports, amicus briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court, and by the U.S. Congress.
He is a current or former editorial board member of such journals as Applied Psychology: An International Review, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Group & Organization Management, Human Resource Management, Journal of Business & Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Management, and Personnel Psychology. Shaun is an Associate Editor of Human Resource Management and Senior Editor of the Journal of Occupational & Organizational Psychology.
Shaun regularly consults to organizations in a variety of industries in Southern California and across the country. Shaun has won numerous teaching, research and service awards, and was the Mihaylo College of Business Faculty of the Year in 2015 and again in 2022.
