Who may run for a board position?

Active members will always have priority, however, all Finance Association members have the opportunity to run for a board position.

 

What should I bring?

1. Board application and candidate questionnaire
2. Resume
3. School and work schedules for the following semester

 

What do I need to do?

1. Prepare a speech 2-5 minutes long that includes:
• A little background information about yourself
• Why you want the position
• Experiences, skills, and qualifications relevant to the position desired
• Goals for the club and how you will achieve them
2. Dress in business attire
3. Show up on time

 

What should I expect?

Candidates are subject to be interviewed by the current executive board once a completed application and supporting documents are submitted. Be prepared to answer questions.

 

When are interviews held?

The board will schedule interviews with candidates.
