Ronald V. Davis
Business Administration, Marketing Major

Ronald Davis began his career with General Foods, where he developed Country Time lemonade. Its popularity revealed how much consumers value taste. With that lesson in mind, Ron next tested the waters of entrepreneurship and found them to his liking. He ventured into the bottled water business with American Landmark Springs, which he soon merged into the Perrier Group of America. In fifteen years, Ron built the Perrier Group into one of the largest bottled water companies in North America, marketing its products under such well-known brands as Poland Spring, Arrowhead, Calistoga, and Ozarka. In 1990, when he discovered that an entire lot of Perrier water had been tainted, Ron courageously recalled all the company's product from shelves throughout the world. This fearless, but financially risky, decision deservedly re-established his company's credibility. Twice president of the International Bottled Water Association, Ron received the industry's highest honor when he was inducted into Beverage World's Bottled Water Hall of Fame.
