This past summer, a survey of the Top 100 Internship Programs conducted by Yello and WayUp ranked Northrop Grumman, a Virginia-based aerospace and defense technology company with a campus and large presence in Los Angeles, as having the number one internship program in the nation.

Cal State Fullerton Supply Chain Program has been a leader in sending students and alumni to Northrop Grumman for internships and full-time jobs, with eight Titans holding positions at the company from the past two years. Seven of these obtained their roles through the Association for Operations and Supply Chain Management (AOSCM), a student club at the College of Business and Economics.

Full-time hires at Northrop Grumman include Allen Huynh ’23, Kammie Williams ’23, Jack Gaynor ’23 and Cang Nguyen ’23, all alumni of AOSCM, as well as Elise Abedi ’23. All hold supply chain roles with the company.

Nathan Addleman, current president of AOSCM, and Zach Stevens, the club’s director of operations, are currently global supply chain management interns with the company.

“Our college is always focused on preparing our students for high-level employment, and part of this process is positioning them for the best internship opportunities at the best companies,” says Sri Sundaram, dean of the College of Business and Economics. “Seeing all these Business Titans leading the way at Northrop Grumman testifies to the quality of our business programs and the talent we develop at the college.  The student clubs, which serve as a bridge between students and the industry is key to our connections with the companies.”
