Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get extra credit?

Students can receive extra credit, only if offered by their professor. Requirements to earn extra credit are decided by each individual professor; however, the Finance Association takes steps to help professors obtain the information they need to determine membership and event attendance. Towards the end of the semester, the Finance Association submits a complete list of all the members and lists of members’ attendance at events to involved professors.

If the student is not a member and is receiving extra credit for attending a single meeting or event, proof of attendance may be provided to the student at the event.

How do I get proof of attendance?

Proof of attendance will be supplied at each of our meetings and events. Proof of attendance may come in the form of a meeting agenda, proof of attendance card, or name tag. Proof of attendance is void unless it is stamped, dated, and signed by an FA officer. Attendees will receive their proof of attendance at check in.

It is the attendee’s responsibility to have the proof of attendance validated by an FA officer by the end of the event.

How do I join the club?

To join, fill out an application and remit with payment to the Finance Association. For complete instructions, visit Become a Member.

There are no GPA requirements to join FA and all majors are welcome.

Where can I find a membership application?

View the Google Form or see Become a Member for more details.

Where can I get my receipt for joining?

If you mailed your application and would like to receive a receipt you can contact our Director of Membership at [email protected], and we would be happy to give it to you.

Where can I send you mail?
