Sales Minor Available Now!

The Sales Leadership Center and the Marketing Department have launched a Sales Minor this past Fall 2018 semester. All CSUF students are eligible to earn the minor upon successful completion of the required courses.* Students may earn the minor as well as the Certificate of Professional Sales through the Sales Leadership Center. These are two great opportunities to gain a competitive advantage when searching and applying for a career in almost any profession.

*Please note that Business- Marketing majors/ concentrations are NOT eligible to earn the Sales minor.*

STEPS TO DECLARING THE SALES MINOR:

Step 1) Visit the Admissions Office to pick up the Minor Declaration Form

- First minor declaration is FREE. Adding or dropping a minor= fee of $10.00.

Step 2) Take the Minor Declaration Form to the BUSINESS Advising Office to be approved/ signed

- The form states that you'll need a "Department Approval" however, all Business College related matters MUST go through Business Advising NOT the department.

- Even NON-Business majors will need to visit BUSINESS Advising for this step/process.

Step 3) Take the Minor Declaration Form back to the Admissions Office

- The minor will show on your Titan Degree Audit (TDA) within approximately 3-5 business days.

- MKTG 353 Marketing Information Technology (3 units)
- MKTG 401 Professional Sales (3 units)
- MKTG 415 Managing the Sales Force (3 units)
- MKTG 442 Sales and Consumer Product Strategies (3 units)
