Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA)
The Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA), a program under dual AACSB accreditation in business and accounting, provides students with the conceptual understanding and technical competence for a career in professional accounting. The MSA curriculum offers opportunities to acquire an advanced knowledge of accounting theory and ethical responsibilities of the profession, with an emphasis on real-world applications and the development of advanced analytical as well as written and oral communication skills. The program meets California's 150-hour requirement for CPA licensure.
You may apply to the MSA program regardless of your undergraduate field of studies. Prior work experience is not required. Admission is competitive. A GMAT is not required, but strongly recommended for applicants with undergraduate GPAs below 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

Prepare to enter into or advance your career in taxation in an accounting firm, law firm, public or private industry, or government tax agencies through the MST Program. Offered at both Fullerton and Irvine locations, this program is designed for all students regardless of your undergraduate degree. Taught by highly experienced tax professionals in the industry, this program offers classes in federal taxation, state and local taxation, and international taxation among others. In addition to the tax specific classes, this program will expand your knowledge in the area of analytics to be applied in the area of taxation. The MST program also has new GMAT or GRE requirements (see below), which allow applicants to immediately start the MST program. Tax courses offered by semester are noted below to make it easier for you to plan your personal MST program.

The Master of Science in Accounting and Finance (MSAF) provides education for students in advanced theories and applications in both accounting and finance with a level of depth not possible in an MBA program or other master's programs. It is appropriate for applicants, with or without prior work experience, interested in careers across a wide range of sectors and organizations. The cutting-edge MSAF program will take an inter-disciplinary approach to training financial executives so that our graduates can meet industry demand and have the necessary capabilities to be future managers including CFOs.
