M.S. Accountancy – Cohort
With the need for accounting professionals increasing, the MS Accountancy – Cohort will prepare you to start your professional career in public accounting. In only 10 months, students can complete the additional 30 units needed to be CPA eligible while defraying the cost through an optional internship or full-tuition scholarships. This innovative cohort-based program begins in early August and ends in May. It includes leadership and professional development opportunities, an optional full-time winter internship, a CPA prep course and plenty of networking opportunities.

Helping to strengthen the pipeline of diverse talent entering the CPA profession, the Deloitte Foundation and Cal State Fullerton are pleased to provide full scholarships covering 100% of tuition and fees (excluding books and living expenses) to select students entering the Master of Accountancy (MSA) program for the 2024–2025 academic year.

Curriculum:
As an MS in Accountancy student, you will be required to take a total of 30 units, a minimum of 24 such units being at the graduate (500) level, and earn a minimum GPA of 3.0. Please visit the University Catalog for course descriptions and prerequisites.
Prerequisites and Admission Requirements

Completion of all accounting prerequisite courses as listed in the University Catalog

Completed or in-progress summer internship with an accounting firm OR being part of the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars program (strongly recommended)

GMAT or GRE not required, but strongly recommended for applicants with GPAs of less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
