Dr. Larry Howard

Dr. Larry L. Howard is an associate professor of economics with a Ph.D. from the University of Houston. His peer-reviewed research has focused on evaluating policies affecting disadvantaged populations, and includes studies on the efficacy of childhood immunization programs and the relationships between food insecurity and childhood nutrition and classroom performance. He teaches several courses in microeconomics for both undergraduate and graduate audiences. His courses provide students with an opportunity to learn the fundamental tools that are used around the world to study the decision making of consumers, producers, and governments and how they interact with one another in market settings.
