Dr. Myungsoo Son is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting. He received his PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, School of Accountancy, with a major in Accounting and a minor in Finance & Economics. He earned an MS in Accounting from Ohio University, and his Bachelor’s in Economics from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. He is a licensed CPA in Korea.

Before coming to Fullerton, Dr. Son was an Assistant Professor at SUNY, Oenonta. He also worked as a CPA at the Securities Exchange Commission in Seoul.

Dr. Son conducts research in the areas of capital markets, audit quality and international accounting. He will be teaching courses in intermediate financial Reporting.
