Learn more about Titan Capital Management

To qualify for Titan Capital Management (TCM):

  1. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or better
  2. Applicants must be committed to pursuing a career in asset management or financial analysis. 
  3. Participants must be full-time students during the entire 12-month program.
  4. Both graduate and undergraduate students may participate in TCM

TCM candidates must complete a rigorous application process including:

  1. Written essay and recommendation by at least one faculty member
  2. Satisfactory completion of Finance 321 and Finance 340 prior to the fall semester of participation (classes may be taken in summer)
  3. Development and defense of a research report for a designated company
  4. In-person interview with a panel of finance faculty and TCM board members
  5. Critical thinking and problem solving skills assessment

TCM begins with three boot camp sessions held the summer after acceptance into the program, and continues through the fall and spring semesters of the following academic year. TCM builds on curriculum presented across the business administration courses offered at CSUF. In addition to academic concepts, TCM students can expand their investment management experience gained with the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF), sponsored by the Chartered Financial Analyst Society of Orange County. Candidates with strong academic success in their finance courses and active participation in SMIF will have a head start when applying for Titan Capital Management.
