Barry started US Recruiting Group in March 2004 after spending 17 years at Dun & Bradstreet, 12 of those in a management capacity and the last 5 as Regional Vice President. As the RVP, he was responsible for approximately 75 people in his organization and $50m in revenue. The transition to the recruiting business was seamless as he had built an extensive nationwide network through colleagues at D&B, partners, and customer contacts. US Recruiting Group specializes in placing top sales talent, and Barry leans on his experience interviewing and hiring sales people for his own team while at D&B.
US Recruiting Group has 3 employees, which include a Researcher and a second Recruiter who works solely on sales positions. They also share an Administrative Assistant who helps in printing resumes and other basic clerical duties. The office is in Brea, CA, a north Orange County city that is conveniently close to Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

I'm proud of my CSUF Marketing education and the relationships I've made. I've kept connected with professors, staff and students since I graduated in 2003. Attending the Marketing Honors breakfast as a student prepared me to enter the workforce. As an employer, I've enjoyed coming back to support the program and have found many exceptional interns, some of which work with us full-time now. In 2010, I joined the CSUF Executive Council, and now I'm excited to participate in the Marketing Advisory Council as well.
My education provided the knowledge and connections to help me build SWIRE, an ad agency I started in 2005 out of a home office. Today, we're a vibrant young agency excited to change the world. We don't subscribe to everyone else's way of doing things. We believe in the humanization of business and connecting with our business partners and alliances in a way that fosters mutual respect and growth. We know what works and what doesn't. We use exceptional strategy, beautiful creative and impeccable execution to create winning campaigns. We do this by going beyond.
At SWIRE, we truly love people. We treat each client and each team member with respect, while holding each other to a higher standard. We love our clients' customers too. They are smarter than ever before. We are in a new world, a new era. We help our clients win by being smarter, more creative, and more strategic than their competitors.
We’ve been very successful in the cable industry working with Cox Communications, Time Warner and others. They have giant customer bases that are heavily contested. In addition to cable, we work with a number of companies from insurance to home services to non-profits.
Personally, I’m a young guy with a lot of heart and passion that likes to hire amazing talent and find solutions. I’m also a dad to toddler triplets (in partnership with my amazing wife Gwen), so building the company while raising my family has been a challenge, but the most rewarding experience of my life. It’s helped me keep balance at work, which is something we strive for as a team. We know a truly happy team is better for all. We can inspire others and produce better work for our clients when we love what we do.
