"The Sales Leadership Center is an excellent resource for students to develop their sales skills and gives students the tools and confidence to succeed in their everyday professional environment whether it be their resume, an interview, attending a dining event, or just interacting in a networking setting. This center gave me the all the tools I needed to acquire internships while in college and helped me to secure a job before I graduated. They truly are the best support system that I could have ever asked for, and I know that they will be around guiding students to success for years to come."
"The Sales Leadership Center has opened the door to so many opportunities for me. The Center provided multiple workshops which helped me improve my resume and intervie- wing skills. I have received multiple job offers and now have the luxury of finishing my final semester at CSUF knowing I have a job lined up."
"The Sales Leadership Center has helped me develop and grow as a business student, and I have gained so much from it. I’ll be graduating from college blessed to have been a part of the Center."
"Sales is not only career option, it is a sharpener for many facets of our communication: listening, persuading, systematic thinking, and even public speaking. We can be valuable in any career of our choice."
"I joined the Sales Leadership Center as a senior in Fall 2016. From the beginning the center welcomed me with open arms, and really made my time at Cal State Fullerton memorable. As a marketing student, I really didn’t see myself actively pursuing a sales career. The center actually helped me realize the importance of having professional sales skills, and the personal and professional benefits that come from it. Earning my Certificate of Professional Sales really gave me a competitive advantage when I was applying for jobs. The center challenged me in many different ways. Each sales competition I did put me out of my comfort zone and helped to develop my personality, so I was able to learn more about myself. The Sales Leadership Center is like a second family to me. The students and staff at the center are amazing. I made a lot of friends and met some very interesting people along the way. Every event the center had was an opportunity to connect with recruiters and professionals in the industry. It also helped get my name out there and land several interviews with different companies. They actually helped me connect with my current employer and helped me in every step of my interview process. The Sales Leadership Center was a major contributor to my success at Cal State Fullerton, and I am so happy that I had the opportunity to be a part of it."

"My time at Cal State University Fullerton was very memorable because of The Sales Leadership Center. I joined the team in the year of Fall 2013. My major was Business Administration with a concentration of Marketing. At this point in time, I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do with my marketing degree. I met with one of the partners of the Sales Leadership Center C.W. and he got me interested in the Sales Leadership Center. At this point in time, I think, “What a great opportunity? To join a center and learn and network with companies.” The Sales Leadership Center gives you the opportunity to come to workshops that clubs don’t offer. Earning my sales certificate gives me the knowledge and gives me an edge for job hunting. It’s a great experience to be part of a wonderful team who always push you!"
"Obtaining my education at Cal State Fullerton has given me the foundation I needed in Business to be successful in my career. As a student I was highly involved with the Latino Business Student Association where I held various positions and was able to establish a professional network. I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Upon graduation I was able to secure a full time position with Nestle USA in their Emerging Markets Division as a Retail Sales Representative. After two years I accepted a position with Tampico Beverages as a Region Manager, and now I am currently an Account Business Manager at Colgate Palmolive."
"I have always strived to maintain a competitive edge and excel in my field. I knew I had found a great resource and amazing tools after visiting the Sales Leadership Center's website. I highly recommend anyone in any field to take these courses since we are all selling everyday to everyone, whether it be an idea to your boss or client, or the reason why you should go to the movies instead of dinner to one of your friends. All the people involved in the Sales Leadership Center have become an integral part of networking with the right people since I was able to get six job offers through the program. Not too shabby for attending a few fun and interactive classes on Saturday mornings. I invite everyone in Mihaylo and CSUF to attend these classes and meet the great people involved with the center."
"Overall, the Sales Leadership Center has provided me with priceless opportunities to find my passion for selling. I began by taking the weekend workshops to explore more curiosity for sales skills and what selling has to offer. These workshops gave me the courage to try out for the Sales Team competing in the Western Collegiate States Sales Competition at Chico State both April 2012 and 2013. CSUF offers many opportunities to exercise your leadership skills and gain valuable knowledge within the classroom. However, the Sales Leadership Center takes it to the next level by providing students with the opportunity for real like experience that makes you so much more valuable to potential employers (while having fun along the way)."
"Any college student can agree, that ultimate goal is to graduate with a degree that will add success and happiness to our future. When I entered CSUF, I still wasn't decided on what I wanted to be, and reaching that goal seemed very far away. However, once I became involved in the Sales Leadership Center, my horizons quickly expanded, and I found myself really liking sales. I was eager to continue to learn about sales, which lead me to participating in the Western Collegiate States Sales Competition. Whether it be the competitive spirit of the competition, or the adrenaline rush of closing a sale, the Western Collegiate States Sales Competition further solidified my desire to be in sales. Through this event, I was able to make a lot of business connections, as well as being given a summer internship opportunity with one of the companies involved known as, TEKsystems. I'm looking forward to continuing my path of sales this summer, and I am excited for what is in store."
