Education
I completed my Ph.D. and M.S. in Organizational Behavior and Theory at Carnegie Mellon University, I also have an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and an M.A. from Fuller Seminary in Pasdena, CA.
Research
My dissertation was funded by a highly competitive Graduate Management Admissions Council fellowship award. It was the first study to examine learning and performance in M.B.A. internships.
My research has been published or is forthcoming in such peer-reviewed journals as Human Resource Management, Academy of Management Learning & Education, and the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication. I also have presented my work at academic conferences such as the Academy of Management.
Professional Experience
I have worked in virtually every sector of the economy including not-for-profit, government, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, consumer products, transportation and high technology. My roles have included:
