Dr. Wayne Jones is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management. He received his Ph.D. in International Organization and Strategy from the University of Hawaii (2006). He earned his MBA, M.S. in International Business and his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He joins us after two years as a faculty member at Roosevelt University. His research interests include entrepreneurial strategies in transitional economies, organizational learning and knowledge management and other topics. He has at least six working papers, and has published in the Thunderbird International Business Review, the Hawaii Business Magazine and the Journal of Marketing Education. During the 1990s, Wayne was involved in karate, as the president/owner of the Japan karate Association of Wisconsin. Wayne teaches Strategic Management and Venture Creation and Funding.
