Description:
This course introduces the principles and procedures related to the design and use of the Data Warehouse (DW) as a platform for Business Intelligence (BI) applications, such as Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) and Data Mining (DM). Thus, you will learn a core set of skills for managing data warehouse and business intelligence projects, as well as for using operational data for business intelligence purposes.
Upon successful completion of the course you should possess valuable data warehouse analysis skills and business intelligence comprehension that will give you a competitive edge in many industry sectors, in a wide range of IS, business intelligence, and project management positions.
Course Objectives:
This course advances the understanding of technical and managerial aspects of business intelligence projects, built around a central data repository, intended for analytical purposes, namely the data warehouse.
