Dr. Pawel J. Kalczynski is a Professor of Information Systems and Decision Sciences at California State University - Fullerton. He was previously an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the College of Business Administration at the University of Toledo.
Professor Kalczynski received his Ph.D. in 2002 from Poznan University of Economics in Poland. He has taught in various areas of IS. His teaching interests include data and information management, programming, and systems analysis & design. Dr. Kalczynski's primary research interests include numerical simulation models for management science. He is currently studying electric energy markets. Kalczynski has 18 refereed journal articles in such publications as International Journal of Electronic Commerce (IJEC), European Journal of Operational Research (EJOR), Journal of Operations Research Society (JORS), Omega, Computers and Operations Research (COR), Computers and Industrial Engineering, Journal of Scheduling, Information Processing and Management (IP&M), Journal of Business Research (JBR). He has more than 20 other refereed publications including proceedings articles and book chapters. He co-authored a monograph "Filtering the Web to Feed Data Warehouses" published by Springer‑Verlag London Ltd. in 2002.
