Travel Abroad Opportunities

Mihaylo graduates students have the opportunity to study abroad and earn three semester credits.  There are two options to choose from International Business Seminars and SKEMA Business School. These unique opportunities are for individuals interested in acquiring a first-hand view of international business practices and obtaining a global perspective while experiencing the excitement of traveling abroad.

International Business Seminars (IBS)

The Mihaylo College of Business & Economics and International Business Seminars proudly presents an opportunity of a lifetime.  Students will participate in lecture-discussions sessions with executives of various multinational corporations, local European business firms, and government agencies.

Participants in the International Business Seminars Program will investigate business policy, strategy and structure in an international context. The Seminars emphasize marketing and management functions and can be taken for three semester units of upper-division graduate business credit.

The overall purpose of the IBS Program is to allow participants to be exposed to international business practices outside the United States. Participants are also given an insight into the cultural, social and political environments of each country visited. This is an unique opportunity for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in international business, or related fields, to acquire a first-hand view of international business practices while experiencing the excitement of traveling abroad.

In addition, there are several options to travel during Winter and Summer. We recommend the MBA Winter Seminar & MBA Summer Seminar.  However, you may also peruse the International Business Seminars website for other seminars.  All seminars are open to our graduate business students as long as the travel time does not conflict with courses you are currently enrolled it.  Seminars that overlap with fall and spring classes are not open to our graduate students.
