The Programs
The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics offers two Master’s degree programs at the CSUF Irvine Campus, located East on Sand Canyon at Trabuco. The MBA and MS in Taxation programs are offered in their entirety at this Irvine facility.
Both programs offer unique accelerated schedules which attract working professionals from the south Orange County area. Each program offers courses twice a week from 7-9:45 pm during the regular semester and from 6-9:45 pm in the summer. Students who attend courses here also benefit by taking one course at a time for the entire session. This schedule allows students to maintain a part-time status of two courses per semester, but enables them to focus on one subject area at a time.
Course Format
MBA: Students are admitted into the FEMBA program during the fall semester and enter in a cohort. Each cohort enters and graduates together creating a strong sense of community as they progress throughout the program. All courses in the FEMBA program are offered in a lockstep format, meaning that all students take courses in the order that they are offered. Each course in the FEMBA program is broken down into 6-8 week sessions.
MS in Taxation: Students are admitted into the MS in Taxation program throughout the course of the year. Courses are scheduled around tax season to accommodate the work commitments of our students.
