Replacement Coursework – (MBA program only)

Students may waive up to 12 units or four classes on their advising worksheet within the required courses area. Any coursework that is waived beyond the 12 units must be replaced with a replacement course. If you are required to take replacement coursework it will be marked on your Advising Worksheet. A Replacement Coursework Approval Sheet can be found on the Current Student Website.

  • During your first semester in the program choose your replacement course(s).
  • Replacement course(s) must be 500 level Business courses. The course(s) may not be listed as required courses or have been waived on your advising worksheet.
  • All Courses can be found in the University Catalog http://www.fullerton.edu/catalog
  • There is no specific list to choose from for your replacement courses. It is recommend you go through the university catalog and choose courses that would be useful for your career objectives.
  • To obtain approval for your replacement course(s) submit the Replacement Coursework Approval Sheet to your Graduate Advisor, Diane Mazzey.
  • You may submit the Replacement Coursework Approval Sheet to the New Admit Advisor either by email newadmit@fullerton.edu  or you may drop off the sheet at the reception desk in SGMH3280.
  • If at any time you need to make changes to your replacement coursework, you must re-submit a new sheet and obtain approval from the Graduate Advisor.
  • Replacement forms may also be found online at the Current Student’s Website
  • To obtain a Replacement Approval Form go to the current student website.
  • The replacement approval sheet must be signed & submitted to Diane Mazzey by:
    • Newly Admitted Fall students: Submit for approval by October 1st
    • Newly admitted Spring students: Submit for approval by April 1st
  • You must have all replacement coursework approval prior to enrolling in the course(s). Courses taken prior to approval may not be used as part of your study plan.
