BUAD 591: Business Strategy Capstone Information

The capstone course, Buad 591, is a project-based course. All MBA candidates participate in this course, in which they consult for leading area businesses. The class is broken down into consulting teams who then work with local businesses to address real management issues. To ensure all graduating students are able to enroll in this course the following procedures must be followed:

  • Buad 591 must be completed during your last semester of coursework at CSUF.


    • Buad 591 may only be taken when you are within 6 units of completing your entire study plan. No exceptions will be granted.


  • Buad 591 requires authorization prior to enrolling in the course.


    • To obtain authorization email Diane Mazzey two weeks prior to early registration only emails will be accepted. (The early registration date may be found in the class schedule.) Do not send Ms. Mazzey an email any sooner than two weeks prior to early registration.



  • Buad 591 must be completed with a “B” or better.


  • Be sure to file your graduation check.
