College of Business & Economics Scholarship
Michael A. Reagan Graduate Scholarship - $4000

The Reagan Scholarship is available to newly enrolled graduate students in the College. This is a non-need based scholarship designated for recipients with an outstanding academic record. This one-time award is disbursed in two installments over consecutive semesters. Students entering in both the fall and spring semesters may qualify for this scholarship. College of Business and Economics Alumni Scholarship - Two $2,500 scholarships
This scholarship was established by the College’s Alumni to recognize and honor students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance. This scholarship is open to new and continuing undergraduate Pre-Business or Business Administration students. Graduating students (January, May or August) are not eligible.

Criteria: Applicant must be a continuing, full-time (a minimum of 9 units per semester)• Scholastic achievement must be demonstrated by a Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or better • Applicant must be involved in the University, College or Community.

Application Procedure: 1) Complete the Scholarship Application, answer all seven questions, and sign the certification; 2) Submit application materials to LH-700.

Application Deadline: March 2

Alan A. Mannason MBA Scholarship - $1000
This scholarship was established by Mr. Alan Mannason and his grandson, Mr. Ian Carpe to assist students with their registration fees and book expenses. The CBE Scholarship Committee will recommend four applicants from which two recipients will be chosen. If you are selected, you will be required to attend the annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony held in May.

This scholarship is open to continuing MBA students who have completed their first year of study in pursuit of their MBA degree; graduating students (January, May or August) are not eligible. These scholarships are for tuition and book expenses only.

Criteria: Applicant must be a continuing, full-time (a minimum of 9 units per semester) MBA student who has finished their first year • Recipient must be present at the College’s Scholarship Awards Ceremony in May 2006 • Scholastic achievement must be demonstrated by a GPA of 3.3 or better • Submittal of a 500-word essay is required on the impact that earning an MBA degree will have on the applicant’s professional goals • The CBE Scholarship Committee will forwarded the top four applications for recommendation of two recipients.

Application Procedure: 1) Complete the Scholarship Application, answer all seven questions, and sign the certification; 2) Write a 500-word essay that describes the impact that earning an MBA degree will have on your professional goals; and 3) Submit application materials to LH-700.

Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., Graduate Student Scholarship - $1000
This scholarship is funded by the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Fund. The Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Selection Committee will select the recipient and award the scholarship over intersession for use in the Spring semester. This scholarship is open to continuing CSUF full-time graduate students. First semester students are not eligible. Interested students must complete the application (available the second week of the fall semester in TSU-207, 714-278-3295. Applications are due by noon on October 14 to the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., Executive Offices, Titan Student Union 207.

Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., and Titan Shops Book Scholarship
(Cost of books for one semester)
This scholarship is funded by Titan Shops in conjunction with the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., which is incorporated on behalf of the Cal State Fullerton student body. The Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Selection Committee will select approximately 35 recipients each semester with fall awards selected over the summer and spring awards selected over intersession. Interested students must complete the application (available the second week of the fall and spring semesters in TSU-207, 714-278-3295.) Applications are due by noon on March 18 (fall awards) and on October 14 (spring awards) to the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., Executive Offices, Titan Student Union 207.

Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., Student-Parent Scholarship - $1000
This scholarship is funded by the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Fund. The Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Selection Committee will select the recipient and award the scholarship over intersession for use in the spring semester. This scholarship is open to continuing CSUF undergraduate, graduate and credential program students who are parents of one or more dependent children. First semester students are not eligible. Interested students must complete the application and prepare a typed essay of no more than 300 words describing the challenges you face as a student parent (application available the second week of the fall and spring semesters in TSU-207, 714-278-3295.) Applications are due by noon on March 18 (fall awards) and on October 14 (spring awards) to the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., Executive Offices, Titan Student Union 207.

Graduate Equity Fellowship - $2,500
Funded by the CSU, this program offers 14 awards each per academic year for economically disadvantaged students, especially from groups that are underrepresented among graduate degree recipients in their areas of study. The application is available in the Graduate Studies office after April 15. A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA form) must be filed, and may be obtained from the CSUF Financial Aid Office (University Hall 146). Applicants must comply with the standard requirements for the granting of financial assistance. The fellowship application is available in the Graduate Studies office or online at http://www.fullerton.edu/graduate/forms.htm. The deadline for application is in the beginning of May of each year.

National Society of Hispanic MBA's
An MBA is your key to successful career advancement. In keeping with our mission, the National Society of Hispanic MBAs will provide financial assistance to outstanding Hispanics pursuing a master’s in business administration. Application packets are available through NSHMBA.

The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program
(GRFP) 2005-2006 Competition is open for applications.

Pre-Doctoral Fellowship - $3,000
This CSU award is a system wide competitive program for students who will continue their studies at the doctoral level and be eligible for faculty positions. The program provides travel funds to visit doctorate-granting institutions, some options for summer research grants, and funds for other related activities. Application packets are available each spring in the Graduate Studies Office.

Phi Delta Gamma
This national fraternal organization for graduates provides an annual graduate studies grant based on financial need. The application is available in the Graduate Studies Office and is due early April of each year.

Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
$20,000 plus half tuition

These Fellowships support a graduate student for up to two years of graduate study. Candidates must be either holders of Green Cards, naturalized citizens, or children of two naturalized citizen parents. Beginning students or continuing students are eligible, though not past their second year. The deadline is November 30th of every year. Applications are available in the Graduate Studies Office or International Education & Exchange after May 1st.

Women's Opportunity Awards
The Women’s Opportunity Awards program is Soroptimist’s major service project. The awards improve the lives of women by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects.

General Scholarships & Awards
Information on scholarships and grants offered by individual departments or college is available in the University Awards & Scholarships booklet published each fall by the Career Planning & Placement Center. Copies are available in the Center, the Graduate Studies Office, and from the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs in each college.

Loans and Grants
Loans for MBA students are available in the form of the Federal Family Education Loan Program (Subsidized/Unsubsidized Stafford Loans) and Federal College Work-Study Program. To be considered for financial aid, students must be officially admitted to the MBA program and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA form may be obtained via FAFSA on the Web at www.fafsa.ed.gov .
Deadline for priority consideration is March 1.
