Important dates and deadlines:
New students are admitted to the main campus programs in both the fall and spring semesters.
It is highly recommended to file during the early filing periods. Programs often reach capacity
prior to the end of the application filing period. For full consideration, all forms and
supporting documents must be submitted to the CBE by their respective
filing deadlines.
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT):
All applicants are required to take the GMAT and must have their official GMAT
score reports sent directly to CSUF from Educational Testing Service (ETS). The
Institutional Code for CSUF is dependant on the program you are applying to.
Please contact ETS for the appropriate code. The GMAT is administered year round at
various testing centers throughout the world. For more information about the GMAT or to

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):
All applicants required to take the TOEFL must have their official
TOEFL score reports send directly to CSUF from Educational Testing Service (ETS).
A minimum score of 570 (paper), 230 (computer based), or 88 (iBT) is required for
admission into the program. The TOEFL code for CSUF is 4589. The TOEFL is
administered year round at various testing centers throughout the world.

Other College-wide Requirements
Applicants must meet proficiency standards in calculus, statistics, and computer
programming, equivalent to passing MATH 135 Business Calculus, ISDS361A Statistical
Analysis, and ISDS 265 Introduction to Computing and Application Software with grades
of a "C" or better.
Applicants who do not score in the top 50% on the verbal, analytical, and quantitative sections of the GMAT are required to complete a department approved course. Advanced degrees, the GRE, or other entrance examinations may not be substituted for the GMAT.

Domestic Applicants need to submit a CSU Application for Graduate Education
along with an application fee of $55 to California State University. You may apply online at
www.csumentor.edu. Your
application will not be processed until you pay the application fee.
International Applicants need to submit a CSU Application for Graduate Education along with an application fee of $55 to California State University. You may apply online at www.csumentor.edu. You must also submit the CSU required supplemental materials. It is also recommended that international students contact International Education & Exchange as soon as possible for the most recent information regarding I-20 requirements. Your completed packet should include the items listed on the

Application Deadlines:
The College strongly encourages you to apply as soon as possible. Graduate programs often reach
maximum capacity prior to the end of the application period.
Please plan accordingly and submit your completed application materials prior to the general filing period deadlines. Applicants who have not been granted an admission decision by the appropriate deadline date may NOT be reviewed for admission into the next semester. Students must reapply if their application is not processed for the semester they applied to.
