Mihaylo College of Business & Economics Scholarship
Michael A. Reagan Graduate Scholarship - $4000
The Reagan Scholarship is available to MCBE newly enrolled graduate students in their first semester. This is a non-need based scholarship designated for recipients with an outstanding academic record. This one-time award is disbursed in two installments over consecutive semesters. Students entering in both the fall and spring semesters may qualify for this scholarship. To obtain an application click here.
Other Scholarships & Financial Aid Opportunities
Graduate Equity Fellowship - $2,500
Funded by the CSU, this program offers 14 awards each per academic year for
economically disadvantaged students, especially from groups that are
underrepresented among graduate degree recipients in their areas of study.
The application is available in the Graduate Studies office after April 15.
A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA form) must be filed,
and may be obtained from the CSUF Financial Aid Office (University Hall 146).
Applicants must comply with the standard requirements for the granting of
financial assistance. The fellowship application is available in the Graduate
Studies office or online at
http://www.fullerton.edu/graduate/forms.htm.
The deadline for application is in the beginning of May of each year.
National Society of Hispanic MBA's
An MBA is your key to successful career advancement. In keeping with our mission,
the National Society of Hispanic MBAs will provide financial assistance to outstanding
Hispanics pursuing a master’s in business administration. Application packets are
available through NSHMBA.
This CSU award is a system wide competitive program for students who will continue their studies at the doctoral level and be eligible for faculty positions. The program provides travel funds to visit doctorate-granting institutions, some options for summer research grants, and funds for other related activities. Application packets are available each spring in the Graduate Studies Office.
Women's Opportunity Awards
The Women’s Opportunity Awards program is Soroptimist’s major service project.
The awards improve the lives of women by giving them the resources they need to improve
their education, skills, and employment prospects.
Gates Scholarships for Qualified Minorities
GMS will select 1,000 talented
students to receive a good-through-graduation scholarship to use
at any college or university of their choice. We provide Gates
Millennium Scholars with personal and professional development
through our leadership programs along with academic support
throughout their college career.
Government Finance Officers Association of the Unites
States & Canada
The Government Finance Officers Association encourages the
pursuit of careers in government finance and management. In the
interest of assisting students in advancing in these areas, the
GFOA offers student opportunities through Internships and
Scholarships.
Jack Kent Cooke Foundation
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's scholarships are designed to
encourage and support outstanding students from 7th grade
through graduate school who have a breadth of interests, work
hard, demonstrate a strong will to succeed, and have financial
need.
General Scholarships & Awards
Information on scholarships and grants offered by individual departments or
college is available in the University Awards & Scholarships booklet
published each fall by the Career Planning & Placement Center. Copies
are available in the Center, the Graduate Studies Office, and from the Assistant
Dean for Student Affairs in each college.
Loans and Grants
Loans for MBA students are available in the form of the Federal Family Education
Loan Program (Subsidized/Unsubsidized Stafford Loans) and Federal College Work-Study
Program. To be considered for financial aid, students must be officially admitted to
the MBA program and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The FAFSA form may be obtained via FAFSA on the Web at
www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Deadline for priority consideration is March 1.
