This teaching case provides students with an array of financing choices that
can be used to raise money for the purpose of buying property. Most
undergraduate students think too locally and in too straightforward a
fashion when it comes to financing real estate purchases. All information
obtained in this case is from an actual land purchase and the financing
decision surrounding it. The actual names of the buyers have been changed
for the sake of anonymity.
